Mission Essentials for

One Million Meals

 

The Salvation Army continues to meet the needs of the increasing number of people who seek refuge and care within the Miami Area Command. With the high cost of living in Miami, The Salvation Army stands as a vital source to all of the at-risk inhabitants within Miami-Dade County.

The call to crisis prompted the creation of the Mission Essentials program in 2020, a program that pledged to serve 1,000,000 meals a year to the neighboring community. Our commitment provides assistance which includes hot meal initiatives and food distribution.
