Karen Godfrey

Karen Godfrey joined Baptist Health as the Corporate Vice President, Revenue Management in June 2003. In this capacity, Karen oversees the financial operations of patient access, health information, and financial services. She is a Fellow of the Healthcare Financial Management Association and a former member of the HFMA National Advisory Council.  Prior to joining Baptist Health, Karen was an audit partner with Deloitte and served as the National Audit Partner for Health Care for the firm.

Karen is a graduate of Florida State University and a certified public accountant. In addition, she has had the privilege of serving on the Salvation Army Miami Area Command’s Advisory Board for over 20 years, including in the roles of Finance Committee Chair and Vice Chair.

Karen is married to George Godfrey and a long-time resident of Miami Shores where she and George raised their three children.  Karen and George attend Grace Church in Miami Shores.
